6 Days Rift Valley Safari
DAY 1: NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
- Depart from Nairobi at 7.30am to Amboseli National Park (approximately 5-6 hrs).
- Drive through magical scenes, arriving at the camp/lodge for a refreshing lunch. Proceed to an afternoon game drive (from 3.30pm until sunset) and get enchanted by one of Kenya’s premium parks. Watch large herds of elephants with Mt. Kilimanjaro as your background setting.
- Return for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: AMBOSELI GAME DRIVES
- Excite your taste buds with an early breakfast at the camp/lodge, priming for an exciting full day in Amboseli.
- Proceed to a game drive complete with a hearty packed lunch to be savoured in a savannah style. Enjoy alluring views of bird and wildlife species hosted in the vast grass plains and dispersed acacia bushes. Take photos from our open roofed tour vehicle with Mt. Kilimanjaro as your backdrop.
- Return and overnight.
DAY 3: AMBOSELI TO LAKE NAIVASHA
- Delight in an early breakfast at the camp/lodge and check out.
- Proceed to Lake Naivasha (approximately 5 hrs drive from Amboseli National Park). Pass through the entrancing Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for photo moments. Arrive for a hot lunch at the lodge. Head out for a boat ride along the shores of Lake Naivasha. Delve in a walking safari in the Crescent Island (approximately 2-3 hrs of activities).
- Return for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: LAKE NAIVASHA TO MASAI MARA
- Wake up to an early breakfast and check out.
- Proceed to Maasai Mara Game Reserve (approximately 5-6 hrs from Lake Naivasha). Cruise through mesmerising scenery arriving at the lodge for lunch. Head out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara and have a terrific time viewing the Big 5.
- Return for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: MASAI MARA GAME DRIVES
- Energize with an early breakfast at the camp/lodge, a superb start to an exciting day.
- Proceed to Maasai Mara on a thrilling search of the African Big 5 (with a picnic lunch in the wild). Stop by the Mara River, the setting of the 8th Wonder of the World (The Great Wildebeest Migration that happens annually from July-August). Explore the wildlife from our open roofed tour vehicle till sunset.
- Return for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: MASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
- Have an early breakfast treat and check out.
- Set off for enroute sunrise game drives as you exit the reserve. (Available alternative option to visit the Maasai Cultural Village at $20 per person).
- Return to Nairobi with a stop over for lunch (arriving late in the evening).
