Located in central Kenya around 160 kilometres from Nairobi by road, it stretches a hundred kilometres north to south within the third highest mountain range in Kenya. The Aberdare National Park is covers the higher areas of the Aberdare mountain range which is an isolated volcanic range that formed on the eastern end of the Great Rift Valley.

Hell's Gate National Park is located in Kenya, northwest of Nairobi, and south of Lake Naivasha. Originally a tributary of an ancient lake that provided food for early inhabitants in the Rift Valley, Hell's Gate National Park gets its name from a small cleft in the rocks. It was founded in 1984 and is renowned for both its landscape and its diverse range of fauna.

Lake Nakuru National Park was Kenya's first rhino sanctuary was created immediately after rhinos were listed as an endangered species. There are several of them in the park, which is also teeming with pink flamingos. The park's major attraction is the greater and lesser flamingos, who congregate at the lake shoes to feed on blue-green algae and create pink clouds in the distance.
